SGF-1 "Castor Sugar" has been released.
Based in Japan, SGF-1 is comprised of Poony-K, a seasoned saxophonist-turned-music-composer/producer, and PJ3, a Berklee College of Music graduate with jazz-piano training who has played alongside the likes of Joe Sample & Chuck Berry.
With their inspiration drawn from such artists as Roy Ayers, Prince, Chromeo, Jamiroquai, Rick James & Crazy P, SGF-1 produces music that captures the spirit & energy of 70's/80's jazz, funk & electro.
Along for the ride, GLOVES adds his trademark dancefloor-friendliness to proceedings as do Get Stellar & Astrolabe.
